Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNIRAZAK)Â was established on 18 December 1997 and is one of the first private universities in Malaysia. SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND HUMANITIES (SEH)
SEH is committed to providing coherent, developmental-based teacher education programmes that prepare potential students to establish and work within the teaching and learning communities which helps to maximize their own potential and that of their future students. The programs offered by SEH promote collaborative learning and critical reflection as a way to develop a community of life-long learners who can respect diverse perspectives, make informed decisions, and be responsive to the changing needs of individuals in our society. All of our programs are designed based on the philosophy that knowledge is power and every child deserves to be taught ethically by quality professionals and teachers who believe that all children are capable of learning. Thus, the goal of the school is to ensure graduates acquire professional knowledge, develop professional skills, and exhibit dispositions needed in order to be effective teachers as well as valuable members of society. SEH offers pertinent programs in education and language that prepare its graduates to accept, honour and enhance diversity among learners and discover their own teaching capability through reflection and progressive field experiences. The programmes offered are Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) (Honours), Bachelor of Education (Honours), Bachelor of English (Honours) and Master of Education (TESL).
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
More than just awarding a diploma qualification for pre-school educators, the course provides graduates with more than just child care. This program will equip graduates with extensive field experiences through collaboration with prominent child care providers and early childhood education industries that enable them to develop their repertoire as teachers, providers and trainers in shaping the future of the young generation. The curriculum arms graduates with very much needed competencies and soft skills to work with young learners.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Local
A pass in SPM with at least credit any 3 subjects or any equivalent qualification.
A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subjects or any equivalent qualification.
A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul.
A pass in SKM level 3 in related field, and a pass in SPM with minimum of 1 credit in any subject.
A pass UEC with minimum grade B in three (3) subjects.
International
- IELTS Band 4.0 or
- TOEFL (30-31) or its equivalent
**The validity period for TOFEL and IELTS is TWO (2) years from the date of the award.
Note:
Conditional offer letter will be issued to international student who has not met the English Proficiency Requirement within a period of 12 months.
